Wow I woke up for a bit during the night, but got back to sleep and when that happened, had a few wild dreams that ended up in the settings of convenience stores but always being inconvenienced in some fashion in them. Like I think my brain was trying to do meta commentary about the problems in American culture and how that influences our politics, our religions, our behaviors, and essentially asking, "Are we really better off in this convenience society?"

Ginza was very hungry when

I finally got up. She slept against my back while I was having those wildly surreal dreams.

Some of that dreaming was also inspired by a book I began reading before going to sleep last evening. Plus interesting videos I watched the last 2 days.

I think as I've gotten older I've been inclining towards a vaguely animistic and polytheistic kind of regard towards the world.

A funny thing that happened during the time I was awake interval is Ginza started playing with one of her lemur toys and I got to see her pick it up off the floor and toss it...

right into the small trash can by the computer desk. A perfect swish if there would have been a basketball net.

She looked rather disappointed and I rescued her lemur and stuck it back in her cat tree lair.

Weather forecast for tomorrow is gross. Showers evolving into a steady rain, a high temp of only 44F.
Today, I took my first bicycle ride in a long while. I got away from cycling last year but now that it's starting to become more pleasant weather, I'm hoping to try to ride the bike 1 to 2 hours every week. With cycling I can get my heart rate higher than with only walking. I think it's good to get some time in the upper heart rate zones and it'll do me good if I get more of that this year.
Today was pleasant enough weatherwise for the date. But the sun has disappeared behind clouds and there's a damp chilly breeze blowing.
Oboes are underrated.
I've found a radio station in Finland that seems to play country-western music. The songs have Finnish lyrics.
Or maybe not. The next song that came on is in English and is not country western. Definitely middle of the road pop with this song.
Trying other stations. Found another where I can hear Finnish being sung. At least for one song at least. Maybe this station will also mix in English songs. This station is rock oriented.

And we get an English language song in the form of You Can Call Me AL by Paul Simon.
Got a pleasant surprise today on the short bike ride. I saw a house that had a FUCK ICE sign on the lawn.
Mökkiradio from Mäntyharju, Finland plays a mix of Finnish rock and pop alongside English language rock and pop.
They've just done a run of 3 songs that went well together. First one in Finnish, I think I recognize its singer. the second was Oops Look What You Made Me Do by Brittney Spears, and a 3rd song in Finnish. Singer sounds somewhat familiar to me, but I don't believe I've heard the song. It rocks pretty good.
