"If you find it hard to remember which way the clocks will change, then the phrase "spring forward, fall back" is a useful reminder."

No, it isn't, because "clocks go forward" is also really hard for me to work out which way the change happens.

Just tell me if tomorrow is an hour shorter or an hour longer than normal.

Or, better, ditch the whole sorry mess entirely, and if the farmers want to get up earlier in the summer to catch the extra light, they can.

#DaylightSaving

@darkling every one should just use UTC and work whatever hours are sensible for them. Who cares about time zones anyway...? Computers can convert everything for us.
@drajt This is also my opinion. But small steps...
@darkling @drajt that ones no better though, as you still need to look up when people sleep in Sydney before you call them, except if you fly there you need to get used to lunch being at 11pm. Sure don't need to change your watch but the mental shift is worse

@sldrant @darkling

I'm really just saying let computers do the work so people don't have to. It's not as if people are good at times now. Just let people be and computers can do all the heavy lifting to deal with the differences.

@drajt @darkling right. Of course the whole of daylight savings makes no sense as farmers already get up with the sun as nobody gave the animals watches.
Honestly it makes no sense up in Northern Ireland as in winter it's dark on both commutes anyway and in summer it rises and sets so early and late that changing the clock makes no difference
