Kinda bonded with a new customer today at the pride center where I volunteer. They were buying some rainbow merch and we realized we’re both agender. They came back in later to tell me it made them feel good to know there were self-aware agender persons out there who were “as old as you are,” and that it gave them hope for the world. I was very gratified by this. It amounted to real encouragement to be more open and overt about stuff. A good day.
