Not on 'the fridge'. very specifically 'on a samsung fridge', so #fucksamsung and their enshitification
14 years ago I was at the Tizen Developers conference in SF, put on by Samsung and the Linux Foundation. Developers were given a 'developer device' running Tizen that was the size of a phone that couldn't have the OS upgraded. At the time, every developer I talk to at the conference was asking if samsung would ever release a functioning phone, running Tizen, for developers to use.
The answer from Samsung was a deafening no. Tizen was never really intended for phones, and now we are finally seeing Samsung's goal with the Linux based OS: pure enshitification and rent-seeking.
