Red cylindrical light columns, no doubt rented from Modern Props back in the day, appear for the first time on the Romulan warbird in #StarTrekTNG in "The Mind's Eye"⬆️ . These futuristic columns will reappear in many later #StarTrek episodes, the first one that comes to mind is "A Matter of Time"⬇️.
