Does anyone have experience with deploying #Codeberg Pages on a custom domain? I've followed the instructions on [1], then [2], except for actually replacing the A/AAAA records. I've been trying the new website with /etc/hosts, but I keep getting SSL fatal error. Any clue what I'm doing wrong? Or does Codeberg only deploy new TLS certificates after I update the domain (and therefore get downtime)?

@mgorny I don`t know how they manage SSL, but for Lets Encrypt its impossible or very hard to get cert without having A or/and AAAA to the service

@smurfd, oh, yes, definitely missed that I need to specify the codeberg.page domain too. Hopefully this will help.

I really wish there was some explicit way of checking the status.

@mgorny you might need to set your TXT record to pages.pages.mgorny.codeberg.page: https://codeberg.org/Codeberg/Documentation/pulls/767
Omitting default 'pages' for 'branch' and 'repo' sometimes causes SSL error

Related to https://codeberg.org/Codeberg/Community/issues/2447 Only updated info for Option 3 as that is the only place I was able to reproduce this
