The Man in Seat 61Basel SBB is a lovely station. No Basel-Paris TGV-Lyria trains today, so it’s TER Basel-Strasbourg & TGV to Paris. Oh what lovely soft seats Corail cars have (if only the headrest didn’t stick out into my shoulders!)

Checked in for the 19:09 Paris-London Eurostar. A breeze, hardly anyone in front of me on a Saturday 5 minutes after check-in opened. Spotted the new EES pre-registration room, on the upper level at the start of the Eurostar check-in area.
