Went to the nearby medium-sized town’s #NoKings to distribute some subversive literature 🙂 and it was fully under control of half a dozen people in yellow vests intent on making it have as little impact as possible. Instead of gathering at the choke-point convergence of two state highways, as people usually do for protests there, the very well-attended event started in a back alley parking lot, walked a single block down an empty street, stood in a park, literally sung kumbaya and then circled back.

Indivisible? More like Invisible amiright.

What were all the clever signs even for?

#TheLiberalsWillGetUsAllKilled

Best/worst part: when some badass grannies peeled off to go to the obvious habitual protest spot (“I’m not wasting my time where no one can see me”) one of the peace police yelled at them for “jaywalking”
@cthon1c do you think they are silly people acting in good faith, or are they wreckers (or rubes for wreckers)?
@unikitty silly and entitled and isolated and very far from personal danger people I think? Like they don’t know enough to even wreck, just following their own bad instincts?
@cthon1c
I really worry about the unseriousness of many of the people who have put themselves at the head of these protests. Lots of people hours going in and I do not expect big results to come out
