Comics are actually a medium where the digital version made something available to me that wasn’t easily. Big PDF comic scans are so much easier to deal with for my visual impairment than paper books, I can invert the colors to read the lettering if I want to.

Of course then DRM came and made them worse than paper again. (Which is one reason I consider violating copyright law a positive social good on anything DRM’d.)

Yes, it is my actual considered position that it is morally praiseworthy to break the DRM on and widely distribute anything under DRM, no I do not consider copyright violation a ‘lesser evil’ in this context.
@lightspill And it is my actual considered position that the artists who don't necessitate this need to be uplifted more! Certainly more than they currently are.
