If #PrivateEquity is sniffing around your industry or sector of the economy it says nothing good about the business.

It means a bunch of shittily run operations are producing excess free cash flow in their operating account and there is potential for them to generate a whole lot more.

The business “play” is to lever up (i.e. via loans), and then siphon off enough to pay down the debt, before flipping to the next buyer.
