It's been filmed, so this has happened or not, but Isa Briones should be in #strangeNewWorlds season 5. New Yeoman. Capable officer and all, but oddly protective of Pikes safety with no hint of romance like Kirk and some of his female Yeoman.

Then final episode, she's walking him to the transporter after the change of command and Pikes transfer to the training ship. Pike transports away, she's alone, and Traveler Wesley Crusher shows up and acknowledges how rough the job of a Supervisor can be, when you have to make sure someone dies at the right time and no earlier.

No real hint that Briones is reprising her role as Kori Soong until Wesley turns up, other than the odd concern for Pikes safety, and well everyone should be concerned about that, a few would inevitably be a little more enthusiastic about that, so it doesn't necessarily mean anything.

And maybe a scene with Pelia showing she suspected, explaining some weird glances. She's been around long enough it's plausible she's encountered Supervisors and maybe even a Traveler before, even if she doesn't know their full story.

I still want them to take another shot at an Assignment: Earth. I'd see it play out as very much like an American Doctor Who. This role reprisal can lead into it. Like the next assignment can be ensuring things go right with an Alaskan named Riker.
