I'm currently replaying The Moment of Silence, a classic point & click adventure game from 2004. I hadn't played it in years -- the original disc version utilised StarForce, which doesn't operate on newer systems. But the good news is, it runs perfectly with Win11 on Steam!

It's a dystopian sci-fi thriller, with screeds of dialogue and awful navigation, but aaahhhhh the nostalgia!

@wordybirdy Oooh I see it is by The Mystery of the Druids people... How's this one?

@dona It's fun! Journalist guy gets kidnapped by unofficial forces because he's been poking his nose into alien business. His neighbour (our protagonist) sets out to find out what's going on. The story is interesting, and the graphics aren't half bad for the time. But the dialogue trees are clunky and frustrating, and the navigation system is absolute crud.

I played it a lot on its first release. I remember the first part of the story particularly, so some scenes are SO nostalgic for me!
