@EricIndiana They are very smart cats! When we had our cats, I thought about building cat walkways that would connect downstairs and upstairs and give them ways enter rooms without the doors open, but that ambition was way beyond our situation at the time. Then the younger cat that would have loved the catways the most passed away, leaving only the older cat that was a ground cat vs aerial cat, so they never got built before the older cat passed away.

We've been cat-less ever since.
