I don’t even know the difference. I’m not sure if it means the person changed from one or the other gender. Maybe trans man means was a woman? Idk man.
But at least someone taught me that you can put (gender neutral) before phrases to not offend people, and I was cool with being called girliepop.
ok, so this is very simple. trans women are women. trans men are men. you can tell because it says woman and man respectively.
many trans people feel really really bad when u call them a gender they are not (i mean, many cis (non-trans) people do too…), so calling a trans woman (someone who is a woman) a man in any way, will probably hurt them, and they would probably not call themselves a man.
on that note, please do not “idk man” me. i’m a genderless demon, here to explain gender to u and i dont enjoy being called a man, even in passing
