More aviation chaos in the eastern US this evening with ground stops at multiple airports, including DCA, IAD and BWI, after the Potomac Consolidated Terminal Radar Approach Control facility in Warrenton, Virginia, which manages a large portion of the region's airspace, had to be evacuated.
@newsguyusa Hey Steve any reports on why the center had to be evacuated?

DC-area flights grounded again for strong odor, weeks after similar issue at same facility
For the second time in less than a month, flights were temporarily halted at multiple airports across the D.C. region after a strong odor was reported at a key
WJLA@dkegel @newsguyusa thank you! I’ve never heard of something like this happening before. Doesn’t make any sense for 2 incidents to occur within a month
