@OddJob There are more challenges this year. I didn't think I would like it but I do. They still use umpires but each team has a certain number of occasions where they can challenge balls and strikes and they use cameras to determine whether the umpire got the call correct. It forces the umpires to really concentrate on getting the calls correct. And there's no long wait for MLB to review the calls. It's a faster game now.
@LilPecan Now I feel like I need to watch just to see all the changes. Especially the video assisted review or whatever they call out
@OddJob At least watch a recap game on the MLB site. They condense a nine inning game down to about 10 minutes. It shows the highlight plays but also all the challenges so you can get an idea what I'm talking about.
