One of my counterpoints to the Citrini Research prediction of mass unemployment by 2028 due to AI agents is that we don’t have enough data center capacity to run that much AI.

Anthropic is adjusting its usage caps and 7% of its users are now expected to hit limits during peak hours.

Token cost and compute capacity are going to be limiting factors on how much work can be handed off to AI agents.
