Trying to install anything via VMWare on MacOS is pissing me off. Apparently something is preventing VMWare from recognizing the ISO? Some bullshit Apple walled prison? No idea.

The more infuriating thing is years ago I could do a web search on important key words from this failure and an article solving the issue would be in the top 5. Now it's just a sea of irrelevant shit, no matter what search engine I use.

Everything is so fucked up in tech and I hate all of it.

Like I want to go back in time to re-experience the period where I took joy in the early internet and far more open systems. And then bail to a completely different career path because it will all turn to shit.
