Anyone else fed up with this? If I add an item, ostensibly the very intelligent tool is supposed to categorize it. Why can't it see that roma tomatoes are already in the right section? @apple stop fooling around with liquid glass and make your core first-party apps actually work. Death by a thousand cuts!!!

Different teams, unfortunately. I feel your pain.

My vote would be to give us the ability to turn off the HomeKit hub feature for old devices.

G1 HomePods are great speakers, but awful HomeKit hubs. Setting one device as the preferred hub is a band aid. Sometimes I wonder if anyone at Apple actually uses HomeKit.

@davidhmccoy @apple i de-standardized on HomeKit after 7 years of it languishing. Bought an RPI 4b and installed Home Assistant, then bridged it back into HomeKit. Infinitely better in almost every way.

I picked up a Hubitat to start doing similar. 💯 agreement with Apple stalled out on this.

Just don’t get it.
