@switch The whole Spock/Vulcan “logical” schtick in TOS was actually pretty annoying/unrealistic to me most of the time. I’ve appreciated the fleshing out of Vulcan passions and self-discipline in subsequent series over the years.

The pinnacle? Much love to the SNW Patton Oswalt “Doug” character and his dynamic with Una and Spock. More of that please.
