Theil at his recent "lectures" in Rome was basically saying he regards climate protesters as a sign the End Times were coming, which, and I'm reading between the lines for context rather than quoting him verbatim, is why he has been bankrolling the extreme right in the US, including Trump, for at least a decade.

Both Theil and Musk gained their initial wealth from Paypal.
