@alexadeswift There is a local accent still, but Bristolian dialect is in sharp decline, not least due to the large no. of incomers. When I arrived in the late 1970s the city had 300k residents; it now has over half a million.
I am sure Bristolian is still a more intelligible dialect than Reachese 😬
Although Kentonese from Kent is completely beyond my comprehension!
