​ for people who use #ZFS zraid1 : how often should i scrub a 4x2TB pool of old shitty disks?

i don't have any backup of my this pool so i bet on zfs to save me.

I use btrfs raid 1 (also without backups) and scrub the disks about once a month.

My reasoning is: The likelihood of the same bit flipping on both drives is pretty low, and I’d rather not put my HDDs under more stress than they need to be.

@Stellar Scrubbing puts an significant wear load on disks. More important: Closely monitor SMART parameters! As soon as you get first SMART errors, *immediately* replace disk. You should definitely do backups. zfs snapshots, send & receive are beautiful solutions.
