I am not sure in the aftermath of this war the world economy will ever be as productive in totality again based upon the amount of damage that is being done and the amount of economic collapse this war was launched partially to distract from (yes I am talking about the US, but also Iran FUCKED its ground water supply).

Given climate change decreasing global productivity and the likely catastrophic damage to water desalination plants in the Middle East will set that region back a decade at least in macro economic development. Further shipping insurance rates are likely going to skyrocket no matter what so shipping will never be as cheap as it was.

I think we are seeing the nadir of global economic productivity, which isn’t all a bad thing but it is sobering.
