Update - correction (thanks to @offbyone): Chuck Schumer did call for their removal on the 24th. (https://xcancel.com/SenSchumer/status/2036530272858955898)

*Original post follows*

“Five days after President Donald Trump deployed hundreds of armed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers to airports across the US, not a single Democratic leader in the House or Senate has called for their removal. The same goes for Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.”

@aral And yet the average US-American still believes the Democrats will save them. The US-Americans have been brainwashed to be the dumbest people on this planet.

Little side story:

In Germany, the blue heart emoji is associated with the AfD nazis. It's their greeting and recognition symbol, a dogwhistle for German neonazis.

My employer, a German company, once used blue heart emojis in a presentation, solely because their "corporate color" is blue. I asked them (publicly) to please stop that for the aforementioned reason. I, a German living in Germany working at a German company specifically talked about the German neonazi scene.

My German employer also has some US-American remote office. Dozens if not hundreds of US-American colleagues complained at HR about me for calling them nazis and HR had to work over-hours because all hell broke loose that day. "I'm not a nazi, I'm a Democrat. How dare he!"

They completely ignored the heart shape of the blue heart emoji and focused only on the color: blue. The US-Americans who can neither read nor understand made my comment about German nazis entirely about them and the Democrats whose color happens to also be blue.

Stupid US-Americans and their identity politics. And I'm not even talking about MAGA but the typical Obama voter.

They almost got me fired that day with their stupidity.

@aral

this does not seem to be fully correct.

allow me - Chuck Schumer, in the Senate, on the 24th of March 2026

quote ICE needs to leave the airports now. end quote

as a reminder - the Democrats are not the charge of either the House, or the Senate or the White House or the Supreme Court. That would be Republicans.
