@jason does it still have the original hard drive? Tivos are brutal on drives - writing 24/7 - that would soon kill an SSD.

I put a preproduction 250 GB drive in mine that had been used for testing during firmware development. I was kind of shocked that the drive was still functioning without problems when I stopped using Tivo six years later.
