I feel deeply frustrated… I speak and share our suffering in Gaza—the fear, the heavy days we live through, the unbearable details… and yet, there is almost no response. It’s as if our voices don’t reach anyone, or as if the pain has become so normal that no one notices anymore. This silence is as painful as the suffering itself, because every word I write is an attempt to be seen, to be heard, to find someone who feels with us… but sometimes it feels like we’re screaming into the void.
