but also ted nelsons ideas of #xanadu are still worthwhile to be considered too.

@blazr @helge I think what the article refers to as "proprietism" was also a negative to these tools; whatever you build will have a short shelf life as the history of these types of tools is _not_ inspiring in terms of how long they will be supported.
