@stastka There is a tattoo booth (damned if I can remember where I saw it - probably Zürich) which has a sideline creating semi-permanent smiles by raising the edges of the mouth by 2-3 cms. They run a subcutaneous Prolene suture from the edge of the mouth up to the ear on each side. A variant (costs a lot more) runs the two sutures round to the back of the head where they exit together and are passed through a drawstring stopper/lock so that the smile can be re-adjusted at any time by hand.
