Finished up S1 of #StarTrek Starfleet Academy and overall kind of loved it. The tone was a little all over the place at the beginning of the season but once I accepted its vibe it was fun and filled with good stuff, and the last two episodes in particular tickled me right in the emotions.

I’m sad it’s only getting one more season, and worse, if reports are true, that the already-filmed S2 ends on a cliffhanger.

With the precedent of the Firefly cast getting back the rights to Firefly, my fantasy is reinforced of #StarTrek #fandom somehow crowdsourcing the purchase of the rights to the franchise.

Wouldn't that be a kick in the head?
