The Infoladen and the Scherer 8 housing project were raided by the police last Tuesday, March 24. Officially, they claimed to be searching for sabotage plans that actually exist only in the imaginations of prosecutors and the police.
However, the brutality of the raid—during which storefronts, doors, and living spaces were destroyed—revealed the true motive: repression against local anarchists and ways of life that are antagonistic to capitalism.
We don’t fit into their fantasy of Berlin’s gentrification, but since they can’t evict us, they intimidate and punish us!
We invite neighbors and comrades to join us on Saturday, March 28, at 3 p.m. at the rally in front of the building to remind the state—and each other—who the streets of Wedding belong to. Together we are strong!
