As far as I understand, Iran isn't likely to make any deals right now that are more favorable to US interests than what they would have agreed to before the war.

So either Trump makes a deal that is worse that what he could have gotten without the war, or he attempts some ground campaign to further pressure Iran... which may not go very well either.

It doesn't look like the Iranian regime is going to collapse, or be in a position where they can no longer threaten others in the region with missiles and drones. And surely the US and Israel aren't really "winning" unless one of those goals is achieved.
