That beats a thumbs-up emoji in the 'employee recognition management' system or a coupon for 1 free small drink with purchase or something; but either he's intending a lighthearted joke or seems to think that the murderous lower orders can be placated astonishingly cheaply.

@fuzzyfuzzyfungus @ai6yr yes, 30,000 employees over 1,900 stores implies ~15 / store, so that ~1000 works out to about $65/person; pet article numbers.

I dunno what they pay, but at US min wage ($7.25), that'd be about 9 hours. Looks like five guys pays more like $15 for front line staff.

I am guessing it's roughly a full shifts pay if one were to dig down and sort out who got how much.
