Don_DickleELI5 The government shutdown being a bad thing? The government is not paying these people so shouldn't they save money and can spend it on other stupid stuff?
There are essentially three chances. money is budgeted, then appropriations which is happening now has to be done, and lastly it can be blocked if we hit the debt limit and its not raised.
