@all_things_secured_channel did an interview with Naomi Brockwell once where she talks about a friend who goes to yard sales to buy used smart TVs, takes them home, takes them apart, and pulls out the SIM cards.

I know I'm at risk of looking snooty here but my TV still has a cathode ray tube and hasn't been powered on in over a decade.
