Weather alert active for Northern Michigan until Friday night

On Friday at 8:17 p.m. EDT a special weather statement was issued by the National Weather Service until 11:30 p.m. EDT for Emmet, Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Leelanau, Antrim, Otsego, Montmorency, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Crawford, Manistee, Wexford, Missaukee, Mackinac and Charlevoix counties.
