@dyckron the electoral districts proposed for Calgary in this "minority report" are an ABSOLUTE TRAVESTY. My community would be carved into THREE DIFFERENT RIDINGS so our community association would have to work with three different MLAs and have to compete with the interests of voters in areas that have significantly different concerns than us.

This would be a huge step backwards after fighting for 3 decades to fix various defects in the boundaries and finally seeing a bit of progress. Dozens of other communities in Calgary would be similarly affected to ours. Like, a bunch of wealthy average owners being thrown together with working class older urban areas. It makes no sense and clearly violates the intention of regulations.

I would DEFINITELY participate in any legal action if the government adopts the minority recommendations!
