i wonder what my students will learn in fifty years about how the federal, provincial, and municipal police forces spy on Indigenous organizations and individuals in the current era. sadly i think there will be significant commonalities.

i already have a good idea of how much the local municipal police force surveils an Indigenous community organizer friend of mine. it's so awful that i get white-hot angry every time he tells me about a new incident. and i'm dead certain that he only tells me about a minority of situations he deals with. what i resent the most is that they clearly want him to die young. fuck the entire lot of them 🖕🏻
