Whenever I see people in their early to mid twenties make educational videos where they're speaking from a position of authority on a classic topic, like "these are the most important things you need to do to write an amazing novel", I can't help but think "how many years of experience do you have to speak from, dear child?".
While at the same time they might have or be close to a PhD on the subject already...

Yeah… we're quick to dismiss the opinions of people in a different generation, sadly.
Sometimes, they can be spot on.
Agree this might be the case. I have a few younger colleagues that wonder why I am so frustrated by the state of the IT industry.
It's because I've seen how much better it can be, reflecting an experience they have never had. This makes me sad…
Then we have Greta who simply tells us to listen to science. Society refuse. This also makes me sad.
