250 years ago, we fought a war to get a King’s name off our laws. Now we’ve got a President trying to Sharpie his name onto our currency and brand the government like a hotel chain.
We didn’t trade a crown for a gold-plated ego. This is a Republic, not a franchise.
@Strandjunker You don't understand. He's hurting a lot of innocent and less fortunate people! (Well, we're told they're less fortunate, though our bank accounts don't actually agree.)
I mean, how does that not make it ok? We get to tell ourselves we're punching down as we destroy everything that made our society hold together! At least we get to tell ourselves it's down while watching neighbors and family get arrested or shot for existing...
We are sick as a nation. Sick and dying...
