#StockMarket . . .

#Drumpf & the #Republicans & their #MAGA supporters own the drop in the stock markets & the rise in oil prices, interest rates & inflation.

Hopefully, these FACTS will be reflected in the results of the mid-term elections to throw out the #GOP bums & give the #Dems control of both the #House & #Senate again so that they can right the ship.

In the meantime, my investment in #SPYI is back to even after being up over 10% which means the stock markets have dropped 10% & in are in a "correction" mode based on #Drumpf's shortsightedness & not based on economic reasons alone, not that there weren't any reasons for the markets to drop apart from that.

In any event, I'm only 66% invested in the stock market & have a lot of $ on the sidelines to take advantage of further drops in the market.

Not hoping for further drops but given Drumpf's lack of military & financial sense, I would not be surprised if the market drops another 10-15%. now that Drumpf has discovered that #Iran cannot be bullied.

Year to date...

Dow is down 6.64%
S&P 500 is down 7.08%
SPYI is down 8.48%
Nasdaq is down 9.84% (Correction territory)
Total stock market is down about 6.90%

Shaping up to be one or the worst starts of the year.

I'm experiencing massive losses in my retirement accounts over the past few weeks. Originally I was wiped into last year. Now i'm wiped back into the prior year. I'm basically where was September 2024, before you know who took office.

So it's as if 2025 and 2026 never existed.

Even with dividend reinvestment, which I use for most of my investments,. I'm still negative overall for the year.

@Starcade I don't use much cash anymore but I keep a couple thou in my safe & I'm going to stock up on bills before this happens.

No way I'm going to use any currency with his name on it & will reject any bills that have his signature on them. 🤬

@Starcade Going to the bank on 4/2 to cash out a CD & then transfer the $ to my savings acct & then to my investment acct to buy SGOV in my trading account.

Will ask for $10k in $100 bills at that time to avoid the need to use any #Drumpf signed bills in the future.
