@rooster We were watching Sex Education last night and there was a scene where the new head teacher was trying to separate the students by gender, and one of the non-binary people asked which line they should be in.
Teacher: "The girls line."
NB: "But I'm not a girl."
Teacher: "But that class will have valuable information on female reproduction that you'll need to know."
NB: "Oh, so it's the penis line and the vagina line, then."
Teacher: ...

@CordiallyChloe I was so excited to finally see Robyn. (They're the actor who plays the other enby in that episode.) I've followed them in Instagram for a while and they're part of why I we even started watching the show. I was a bit disappointed at how small their role ended up being, though. 😢

When I was a kid a teacher said the only English word that had two ii's was skiing. I had just gotten back from a trip to Hawaii so I corrected her. She lost her mind. I was her least favorite kid after that. I can't even imagine a teachers reaction being corrected on gender issues. But I am rooting for that kid and I bet the other kids in the class are too.
