The Romulan physiological monitoring system (as per the script) in #StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye"↗️ was originally designed (by Rick Sternbach) as a matter replicator for "The Survivors"⬅️. In between, it was also seen as a medical device in "Transfigurations"↘️.
