Serious Q: is there a form of dyslexia or processing disorder that makes it hard to even see (words in parentheses) in a sentence? Because Lyricdancer just read a sentence with a parenthetical insertion four times out loud and skipped the parentheses every time, and then when I asked her to read all four words on the first line of text (the fourth being inside the parens) she read the three then paused for several seconds before going "oh!" and reading the fourth.
