InfiniteHenchI really dig #MarathonTheGame. But it needs to loosen the chains if it wants to get any kind of major audience like #ArcRaiders.
While I don’t think games need to compare to each other all the time, Arc is an inarguable AA breakout for the genre. Bungie is a AAA studio trying to make an incredibly punishing genre mainstream. I don’t think it’ll work without some compromises.
