I’ve never understood the animosity toward coyotes. Humans move into _ their_ territory, fuck it up, then get angry that the coyotes are adapting?

When I was living in the mountains near BC, I knew that I was the intruder in a land that belonged to all the wildlife. The coyotes made me laugh when they ate low-hanging cherries from the trees, and they kept a natural balance in the environment.

They’re beautiful animals who are just trying to adapt and survive.
