lots of hater reviews of project hail mary hitting the letterboxd feed citing my exact problems with the martian, but in the body of the review they talk about the martian as an example of this type of movie done well. i assume project hail mary would make me so annoyed i literally die

@tom the thing about the Martian is that it's kinda goofy but also if Matt Damon fails to grow a potato then he just dies and that's it. now imagine exactly that, but if Ryan Gosling fails to do some middle-school science teacher trick and dies so does ALL OF HUMANITY.
