the buff who fell to earthLolz, suddenly got a bunch of traffic to the 1001OtherAlbums blog from reddit so I searched and (a) they have no clue what Mastodon/Fedi is and (b) they think it's "a list of 'how obscure can I be to show I'm cool.'" 
Okay these 2 people get it, this warmed the cockles of my heart. "I kinda love how absolutely batshit this list is" is 100% a compliment in my books.

Avi_Miller@buffyleigh Part of what makes the list so cool is that it gets you to listen to music that you wouldn't have otherwise. So much of the original list is stuff you will have either heard before or at least were well aware of.

@avi_miller absolutely. i think they're assuming it would be a slog since they're using that album generator to go through the official list. and when it's a structured daily thing like that, it definitely becomes a chore at some point if you're trying to stay on schedule.
@buffyleigh Actually, while on this topic. I would like to request that *2R0I2P0* by Boris with Merzbow (2020) be added to the list. It is a collaborative album that IMO is my favorite studio release that Boris & Merzbow released together. (6 of the 10 tracks are reworks of tracks off of Boris' 2019 album LĻVE & EVĻL, with the other four being 2 covers, & reworks of a track each off of their 2017 album *Dear* & their 2018 split with The Novembers)

Speaking of Icelandic cellist composers, I saw Hildur Guānadottir play last weekend. It was dark and moody. AND it finished at 9pm. Result!!
