Among progressive influencers there are so many white self-appointed experts that are completely clueless about Native history & relationships with Republican legislators. They shouldn't even suggest they know what they are talking about because they don't.

This one, who I ordinarily respect has over 300k follows.

Mass majority of Indian Territory (supposed Oklahoma) Natives including Tribal gov't are totally opposed to the GOP. Unfortunately they have to deal with them.

If you have a social media platform, are making a movie or TV series, are writing a book or magazine article, etc. etc. and you're speaking to Native involved issues, get a Native consult. Otherwise you're just perpetuating misinformation.
