@rat no problem. Thanks for sharing the Wikipedia article. The fact that #Haaretz chose to ignore/silence her Arab Jewish roots doesn't surprise me. This newspaper will never be abel to shake it racist foundations especially the way it treated Arab Jews in the past.

A reminder that Arab Jews were and still are the only real bridge for Jewish life in the Middle East.

@oatmeal Coincidentally just watched 'The Land Speaks Arabic'. A Film by Maryse Gargour. Oldies reminiscing arab-jew-christian-etc communities before the euro influx very touching.
